At Cornerstone Junior School in Mukono, we greatly value democracy. We believe that learning about democracy starts by practicing it.
Therefore, at our school, pupils get to choose their leaders themselves. They learn about voting, run campaigns, vote, and then we have a ceremony to welcome the new leaders into their roles.
We want to extend a big thank you to Mr. Ssemukwaya Umar and the team responsible for organizing this year’s elections. They did an excellent job.
