Creative Hands at Work: Our Seed & Wool Collage Masterpieces

🤩Nursery Section Mukono Campus, imagination is blooming—and so is creativity!🌄

This week, our nursery learners explored the wonderful world of collaging using natural materials—and the results have been nothing short of amazing! With just seeds and wool, our little artists brought to life birds, animals, and colourful nature scenes in ways that were both fun and educational.

Using seeds of different shapes, sizes, and colours—like millet, beans, and maize—the children carefully arranged each piece to form bodies, wings, patterns, and more. Then, with soft, colourful wool, they added features like feathers, fur, tails, and even grass to complete their masterpieces.

This activity helped our learners strengthen their fine motor skills, encouraged sensory exploration, and sparked storytelling as they described the animals and birds they created. It also introduced them to creative recycling and the beauty of using natural and everyday materials to make art.

The classroom was full of excitement and teamwork as children shared ideas and helped each other complete their artworks.

🎉 We’re so proud of our Nursery Section for turning simple materials into extraordinary art. Every piece is a celebration of creativity, curiosity, and the joy of learning through play.

🌈 At Mukono Campus, we’re not just growing minds—we’re nurturing young creators, one seed (and one strand of wool!) at a time.
